Mini-Comix

Yikes, Platinum Toad, and the Everyman Comics Mini-Series are all out of print. They were all printed by me on a tabletop offset press... old school desktop publishing, before we had computers. The first three issues of Platinum Toad were fanzines. I was very active as an editor and publisher from 1969 until 1981. In 2016 I published a second issue of Nutso Toons, including a previously unpublished 5-page story by me, "Squork & Ortney." To add to collectors' confusion, the new book has essentially the same cover art as the first issue, with greatly improved color work by me.

Yikes! was edited by George Erling, who also did most of the stories and art. George self-published the first 3 issues, and Everyman Studios published the fourth, which also had a second printing. The Everyman Comics Mini-Series, by a variety of artists, were 8 to 12 pages with full-color covers. Click on the thumbnail images below to see some Everyman Comics Mini-Series covers and more.
