This scientific animation sequence was created for the "Field of Gleams" episode of the syndicated PBS TV series Hittin' the Road starring Donna Vessey, and was animated primarily by Travis McCoy, Autodesk Maya specialist for ARG! It dramatizes the geologic processes that created diamonds deep inside the Earth and then violently delivered them to the Earth's surface.
