Spongebob Tickler v. 2.0 (2009)

For the tenth anniversary of the Spongebob Squarepants® cartoon show on Nickleodeon, Viacom/MTV Networks released version 2.0 of the Spongebob Tickler app for iPhone (iOS). The developers at Mobia commissioned ARG! to quickly animate the most difficult sequences of Spongebob and his pals. The ARG! animators who worked on this 9-day rush job were Artie Romero, Don Mangan, Jeff Gingrich and Tim Romero. The work was done in Adobe Flash (now known as Adobe Animate). The iOS app includes a lot of fun features, including four mini-games. MTV Networks was very happy with our work, and it was an honor for us to work on an official Spongebob Squarepants product!

Later on, when Android appeared on the smartphone scene, the original Tickler was ported to Android, but not the elaborate 2.0 version ARG! worked on.
