In this 8-minute film, Turtle Taido takes a cable car to Obudu Ranch, visits a drill monkey sanctuary, tours a National Park and meets the African elephant, who tells Taido and his friend Bello a story. Then Taido and Bello go to the kingdom of Zaria, and see the great warrior Queen Amina's ghost.
Turtle Taido is a cute, bubbly turtle who is on an adventure to all the cities in Nigeria, learning about the people, their culture, history and animals. He has a special power in his shell that he uses to help others.
Adventures of Turtle Taido, the award-winning Nigerian TV series for children, was created and written by Muyiwa Kayode, who also supervised the music, voice performances and character designs. All 36 episodes were storyboarded and animated at ARG! Cartoon Animation's U.S. studios under Artie Romero's direction. This director's cut was completed in April, 2020.
